Lake Insights is provided for general information and planning. Water levels, weather, forecasts, alerts, and editorial content may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. They are not navigation charts, engineering surveys, or official operator instructions. You are responsible for your safety, equipment, and compliance with local laws on the water.
Data accuracy and third-party sources
We aggregate data from public agencies and partners such as NOAA, USGS, and reservoir operators (including USACE where applicable). Those organizations control their own publications; we do not guarantee their timeliness or accuracy on our site. When in doubt, follow the issuing agency.
No warranty
THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
Accounts

Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAKE INSIGHTS AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.
